Together we knit a community that cares for children & families 

Many children enter foster care with very few personal belongings.

Our Threads exists to provide clothing and essential resources to children in foster care and families in times that matter most-restoring dignity, meeting immediate needs, and creating a sense of community. With your support, we can stand in the gap for children and families.

Volunteer & Donations
 This work can only be possible through a community effort.

Items we collect:

  • Washed & free from holes/stains children's clothing ​

  • Carseats 

  • Highchairs

  • Cribs 

  • Children shoes in good shape

  • Children books

  • New hygiene items

  • New in package toys

  • Unopened diapers

  • Unopened wipes

  • Other donation? Reach out!

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Open to groups, individuals, and families

  • Clothes sorting

  • Personal shoppers

  • Delivery concierge

  • Serve as a drop off location

  • Donation pickup 

  • Community advocate

  • Host a clothing/hygiene drive

  • Bake goods for families

  • Connect to a foster family

  • Help with social media​

Clothing have stains and holes?
We can recycle them! Please bag separately and use our on site donation bin.
We are able to receive a small donation per pound of recycled textiles.
